Industry Interface

 Indian Industry has been the backbone for all the programmed of ISRO. Considering the future ISRO programmed and advanced space missions in anvil, ISRO always strives to increase the participation of Industry in all the programmed by leveraging their strengths in focus areas of interest. In parallel, ISRO also encourages industry in finding commercial applications/spin-offs by making use of ISRO developed technologies through a robust Technology Transfer mechanism. One particular interest area of ISRO, beneficial to industry, is related to indigenization, wherein the focus is to Indigenize space components and devices to minimize the dependency on foreign sources, to optimize the cost and generate job opportunities. Given space is an exclusive field, there is ample scope for implementing innovative practices for achieving the dramatic results through qualified start-ups. ISRO brings in the opportunities in the above areas for industry participation.
